Documenting real families staying safe at home during this trying time.

"Listen, we are absolutely trusting the Lord with this."

" We are just enjoying being home, cooking a lot and enjoying spending this time with the family, & WayWay."

"I am using this time to get caught up on a lot of work, watching Disney +, and snuggling with my Waylon.

" It's a very lonesome place right now. I feel like I am in jail. I miss my family. I am praying." - My sweet great uncle *This photo was photographed through the closed glass window. No worries! We also talked through the glass and wrote notes*

"I'm listening to what the president is saying and staying 6 feet away from everybody. It's important."

"Well... we have gotten really good at playing pool. We love to play cards, too. Our granddaughter got us these huge playing cards. He's the master at cards and I am the pro at pool."

"I simply didn't choose to be a nurse for the job. God called me to this field, to help save lives and witness to the sick. He made my plan for me, long before I knew. With the pandemic upon us, what scares me the most, is the one thing I love and the one thing I was called to do, is the one thing that endangers my family the most. To my older children, you are living through history. This is will be in your brother's history books. I hope they can look back and say these weeks in isolation were spent with family, having fun and learning new things. I pray they don't remember the fear. "

"We have been “jumping” at the opportunity to spend more time together as a family."

"It’s hard to put into words what all this has meant for our family. It has been confusing and at times scary, but it has also brought us closer too. We’ve hung out more as a family, worked outside, enjoyed the beautiful spring weather and even worked a puzzle! We feel so blessed to have a healthy and happy family! God is good!"

“ During this time of uncertainty this verse comes to mind; Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust him."

"Being essential workers is very stressful physically, mentally, and emotionally. Especially when you have a little one at home. But, we are thankful to serve a God who is the ultimate healer. This too shall pass."

"Everything that’s going on has given us more outside playtime and many more movie nights than we normally get together! We are enjoying the quality family time!"

"I like to think we try to make it our family mission to be joyful in all circumstances. It’s my heart's desire that our children grow in knowing that our joy is found in the Lord, and that there is always something beautiful to give Him praise for. Some days it’s binge watching Disney+ working on Highlights Hidden puzzles, other days it’s rescuing a newborn bunny and learning as a family something new. With that mindset, social distancing doesn’t seem so daunting and we can still praise and honor our God. That alone is time well spent."

"I am reminded during this uncertain time that the book of Isaiah 41:13 says For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. This scripture gives me peace in my heart and keeps me grounded."

"We have certainly been engaging a whole lot more with family and friends through FaceTime... as we count down the days until we can all come back together for church services again. The church is not a building... it is the people and we certainly MISS all of our wonderful faithful people."
