How Often Can I Book a Milestone Session?
The milestones of your little one are very important. Let's break down the different options you have for booking your child's milestone session throughout their first year.
Milestone sessions can be booked for every 3 months or 4 months during your child's 1st year.
It is totally fine if you opt for a 6-month session.
12-month 1st birthday cake smash sessions are separate sessions and not milestone sessions. You can learn more about cake smash sessions by viewing 1st Birthday Sessions on the menu.
Do You Provide the Outfits?
Clients are responsible for providing their child's clothing. Shonda will base the sets to match the outfits.
Please send Shonda a photo of the three outfit choices 3-5 days before your session.
Can my child do a cake smash for their milestone?
No, unfortunately, cake smash sessions of any kind are only for 1st birthday sessions.
Do You Require a Retainer Fee?
A nonrefundable & nontransferable $30 retainer fee is required upon booking but will be deducted from your session fee once you arrive for your session.
An invoice will be sent to your email for you to pay online.
Retainer fees must be paid within 24 hours of booking your session, or the session will be released.

How long does it take to receive my images?
Client: If you do not see your email within the 21 days, please check your spam folder.
How Covid-19 Affects the Studio
Health and safety are important to Shonda Hope Photography.
The studio has always practiced cleanliness and safety and that has not changed. Shonda always washes outfits or garments - basically, anything that touches the skin of a baby or child during the session is cleaned before it is used, again. This continues to happen as well as sanitizing hands, props, and surfaces.
Shonda wears a facemask for all newborn sessions and upon request for other sessions.
As always, to help reduce the spread of illness and germs, if clients are sick, showing any symptoms of illness, or have been exposed to Covid -19, please reschedule. Shonda has her current immunizations, and always makes sure her health is number one before ever entering the studio. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to ask.
